Extra Articular False Ankylosis Following Fusion of Mandible to Zygomatic Bone and Maxilla Due to Ossifying Fibroma-A Rare Case Report

Trismus is a disturbing condition with varied etiology, one of them Extra articular ankylosis. The extra ankylosis has been reported in the literature as fusion coronoid process to zygomatic bone or skull base. However, there are very few cases that highlights pathologic tumor mandible leading extra-articular and subsequently resulting trismus. We hereby present unique case young adult having restricted mouth opening due bony mandibular ramus zygomaticomaxillary buttress region diagnosed Ossifying Fibroma.
